Saints, Raiders Reportedly Couldn't Agree On Wide Receiver Trade
The New Orleans Saints were reportedly interested in trading for a Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver ahead of yesterday's deadline.
However, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the two sides couldn't iron out the details that would have sent slot receiver Hunter Renfrow to New Orleans before 4 p.m. ET on Tuesday.
"Just so much contractual stuff that they had to work out, who was gonna pay his salary. Didn't get it done by yesterday. In the end, just did not end up happening," Rapoport said.

Renfrow is set to carry a cap hit of more than $13 million for next season, so that largely played a major role in no deal coming to fruition.
Two years removed from catching 103 passes for 1,038 yards and nine touchdowns, Renfrow has not been utilized much this season by the Raiders while working alongside Davante Adams and Jakobi Meyers.
The former Clemson star has just 10 receptions for 92 yards in eight games,
though perhaps his workload will increase now that head coach Josh McDaniels and offensive coordinator Mick Lombardi have been fired.
