Step-2
Set up your WordPress website.
Set Up Your Website Once you’ve purchased your domain name and set up web hosting, you’re all set!
Now it’s time to install WordPress on your website. The first thing you need to do is install WordPress on your domain.
Installing WordPress
By going to cPanel “One Click Install” You have installed WordPress.
Almost every reliable and well-established hosting company offers One Click Installation facility for WordPress.
If you signed up with Bluehost or another similar hosting company, you should find “One Click Installation” in your cPanel.

Sign in to your hosting account.
- Login to your cPanel
- See “WordPress” icon.
- Select the domain where you want to set up wordpress website.
- Click the “Install Now” button and you will have access to your new WordPress website. During installation you need Setup Admin username and Password.
Step-3

Once you have successfully installed WordPress on your domain, you will see a very simple site.

Log in to your WordPress dashboard

Step-4
Add Content to Your Website
With the theme installed, you’re ready to start creating content. Let’s look at some basics:
Adding and editing pages
Adding a “Service” Page, or “About” Page, or “Contact Us” Page to your Website.
- You can create a new About, Contact Services page by clicking on “Page > “Add New” in the sidebar of WordPress Dashboard.
- You get a screen that looks very similar to what you might see in Microsoft Word. And text color, size, image insert, video, bullet, bold, italic, underline, text alignment etc..
Adding a page to the menu
If you want your new page to be linked to your navigation bar,
Save the page you are creating by clicking on “Update”.
Click “Appearance” > “Menus” in the WordPress Dashboard sidebar.
Find the Page you created and click on the checkbox next to it to add it to the list and then click on “Add To Menu”.
Adding and editing posts
If you want to add a blog to the menu on your website, you can use different categories. Let’s say you want to create a category called “Blog”, add it to your menu and start writing posts.
To create a category, you have to go to “Post”, after that click on “Add New Category” in “Categories” and give the name of the category.
After this you add this category to the menu. For this, by going to Dashboard > Appearance > Menu, you can add or remove Post, Category, Page, Link in the navigation menu of your website.
Step-5
WordPress Setting and Customize
The website title tells searchers about your website. Which is the domain name of your website.
You should use a tagline on your site. For example, a tagline is below a company name or logo.
How to change the title and tagline of your website?
Go to “Dashboard > Settings > General” and change the Title and Tagline.
Disable or enable comments for posts and pages
Business/organization sites, mostly, do not allow their visitors to comment on their website. Because comment is disabled here.
When you are writing a new post, click on “Screen Option” in the top right corner.
After clicking on the “Discussion” box, the “Comment box” will appear at the bottom. Here you can Disallow or Allow. From here you can disallow or allow comments one by one or on the post/page you want.
But if you want to disallow or allow comments on all posts/pages at once, How will this happen?
Go to “Dashboard > Settings > Discussion” and uncheck the checkbox of “Allow People To Post Comments On New Article”. And you can also make other settings from here.
Setting Static Front Page
If your home page looks like a blog post (with your latest post appearing at the top), you can make your main page “static”.
To set Static Front Page:
Go to “Dashboard > Settings > Reading” You will get two options in the Front Page Display.
- Your Latest Posts
- A Static Page (Select Below)
Most WordPress themes have a sidebar on the right side. If you want to change something in the sidebar, add your preferences there like- Social Media Link, Popular Post, Comments, Ads, etc. If you want to install it, you can do so, follow the steps given below.
Go to “Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets”. From here you can add different “boxes” to your sidebar using drag and drop.
Widgets also have an “HTML box” where you can use HTML code.
Plugin For WordPress Plugins are designed to enhance WordPress features such as Function, Design, Online Payments and etc.., adding features and functions to your site that are not already included in your website.
You can use plugins for From Submission, Adding Photo, Online Store, Customizing the website.
